Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna w Strzałkowicach is the volunteer fire brigade serving our community — preventing fires, training residents, and standing ready for every emergency call.
Ochotnicza Straż Pożarna w Strzałkowicach is a volunteer organization dedicated to fire prevention and safety for the village of Strzałkowice and the surrounding gmina of Ruja. Every member is a neighbor first — someone who chose to train, prepare, and respond when others need help most.
Our statutory purpose is straightforward: to carry out activities aimed at preventing fires, to cooperate with institutions and social organizations in that effort, and to take part directly in rescue operations whenever called upon.
From prevention to active response, our unit is trained and equipped to handle the full range of fire and rescue needs in our area.
Rapid deployment to fire incidents with trained crews and maintained apparatus, coordinated with regional fire services.
Inspections, awareness campaigns, and practical guidance that help households and local businesses reduce fire risk.
Participation in rescue operations beyond fires — road accidents, flooding, and other emergencies requiring fast local response.
Fire-safety workshops for schools, residents, and local businesses, teaching prevention and basic emergency response.
Ongoing maintenance of trucks, pumps, and protective gear so the unit is dependable whenever a call comes in.
Coordinated planning with local government, the State Fire Service, and social organizations across the gmina of Ruja.
We're a small unit with a serious responsibility, and we take both parts of that seriously.
Members know Strzałkowice's streets, buildings, and hazards firsthand — knowledge that shortens response time.
Every member completes recognized fire-safety and rescue training and keeps skills current through regular drills.
We answer to the people we serve, with transparent operations and close cooperation with local authorities.
Fires and emergencies don't wait for business hours — neither do we. Our unit is ready around the clock.
